Yarn weight 5 · 6.0 mm (US 10) needles + cable needle

Directions

1. Cast on 132 stitches in a bulky wool.
2. Border: 6 rows of seed stitch.
3. Cable panel (12 stitches): rows 1 and 3, p2, k8, p2; row 5, p2, slip 4 to cable needle and hold in back, k4, k4 from cable needle, p2; even rows, knit the knits and purl the purls. Repeat these 6 rows.
4. Set the throw as seed-stitch edges with six cable panels across, separated by 4 purl stitches. Work to length, then 6 rows of seed stitch and bind off.
