Corner-to-corner heart baby blanket
Yarn weight 4 · 5.0 mm (H-8) hook
Directions
- Corner-to-corner (C2C) builds the blanket in small diagonal tiles, each tile = ch 3 + 3 dc.
- Row 1: Ch 6, dc in 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch (one tile).
- Increase rows: turn, ch 6, dc in 4th ch from hook and next 2 ch, then sl st into the ch-3 space of the tile below, ch 3, 3 dc in that space. Keep adding one tile each row until the width you want.
- Decrease rows: sl st across the last tile, then work tiles without the new starting chain.
- Follow the chart: each square is one tile. Change to the second color where the heart begins.
- Border: one round of sc, with 3 sc in each corner.
